If you know me at all, you know I’m a sucker for Mediterranean food. It’s one of those types of food I can always eat.
Enter Kairos Greek Kitchen!
Its located in Mt. Pleasant and when we walked in I immediately thought it resembled well… a Mediterranean Moes!
You make your own meal as you go and they have tons of healthy options to choose from. It’s very vegetarian friendly!
I ended up with a not-very-healthy Street Pita which has french fries stuffed on top of a very delicious chicken pita. It was delicious and filling, but it didn’t sit heavy in my stomach.
To top it all off, they have Maine Root Soda which is a fair trade, organic, DELICIOUS alternative to the typical carbonated beverage.
I enjoyed it! We will be back!
For the last few months I have been compiling a list of food establishments in the Lowcountry that I’ve never been to but want to try. These places range from “hole in the wall” to fancy upscale places to simple coffee shops. I have an intense love of food… just ask the Ginger. He knows the best way to my heart is through good food and good company.
After a few months of research and countless suggestions from friends, coworkers, and other locals… I’ve chosen 30 places to try during my 30th year of life!
I work in a profession where I’m reminded every day of the brevity of life. And with this being a “big year” I wanted to treat myself to a little bit of selfish pleasure… in the form of delicious food and good company.
This blog is for my documentation, but feel free to follow along on my food adventure!
